26. Reuben S. PHILLIPS (3) was born on May 28 1820 in Georgia? Alabama?.(6) He died on Apr 3 1905. He was buried in Macedonia Cemetery at Five Mile. Reuben and Rufus were twins. Middle initial might not be an "S". Showed in 1870 Wolf Bayou census to hold W 1/2 Southeast Section 3 and NE NW & NW NE Section 10 on Jan 27,1871. In 1880 Census He was shown to be a native of Alabama. Also listed Georgia in two other columns. Does this refer to his parents? All the children living with them in 1880 show to be natives of Alabama so in 1865 and earlier they must have lived in Alabama. He was married to Mary Ann E. on Oct 23 1851 in Coosa County, Alabama.(7) Date may be 10/22/1851 according to Mormon records.

27. Mary Ann E. was born about 1826 in Virginia or Alabama.(8) She died on Mar 2 1900. died at the age of 74 so was born in 1826 or 1826. She was buried in Macedonia Cemetery at Five Mile. According to 1880 census she was also a native Alabaman with roots in Georgia. Children were:

child i. Marshall L. PHILLIPS was born on Sep 9 1852 in Alabama.
child13 ii. Josephine PHILLIPS.
child iii. Laura PHILLIPS was born on Jan 3 1855 in Alabama.
child iv. Rufus Perry PHILLIPS was born about 1858 in Alabama. According to 1900 census Rufus Perry was his name. He is most commonly referred to as Perry.
child v. Nancy Jennette PHILLIPS was born on Oct 8 1859 in Alabama.
child vi. Frances Mariah "Fanny" PHILLIPS was born on Mar 25 1864 in Alabama.
child vii. Thomas J. PHILLIPS was born about 1865 in Alabama.
